BIOGRAPHY
Mr Joseph Chiarucci was born and raised in Northern California. His families roots in America are from that state and from Minnesota. He received an education from the California public school system, then attended Colorado College, in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he received a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art, and a Minor in the History of Science, graduating in 1997.
He went on to live and work in Colorado Springs for a number of years, first in a large hardwood mill shop, and then for a real estate investment company. While there he framed a few of the many new homes that were being built on the eastern edge of the Rockies, where such cities as Colorado Springs, Denver, and Fort Collins are located. He moved back to California and worked in the remodeling and renovation field in San Francisco. After tiring of life in the city he packed up and moved to Northern Vermont, where he spent the following eight years, first working for a local commercial construction company and then pursuing his building craft independently.
After that time he left Vermont and fulfilled a long held ambition to live in New York City, where he spent a few years remodeling apartments in the prewar buildings on the upper east and west side. He had an interesting experience learning the unique ins and outs of doing construction projects in that bustling city. He returned to San Francisco and spent a few years building projects for family members and then crossed back to the east coast to manage a commercial project in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for one of his NYC clients who had purchased a building in that state. He spent the next four years working independently on a variety of residential projects in and around Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
He went back to San Francisco and spent a few years helping his sister with the care of an elder parent while he worked in the city. He then returned to the east coast and moved to our nations capitol, Washington D.C.. He found the East Capitol Hill neighborhood suits his taste for its abundance of trees, its lower density, the ease of getting to the river and other nearby outdoor areas, the general walkability as well as the proximity to the center of the city.

Thank you for taking the time, I look forward to discussing your projects if the chance arises,
